Michelle Delk
MPH, Emory University
Michelle Delk completed her BA in Public Health at Tufts University and graduated with her MPH in Health Policy and Management from Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health.
During her academic and professional career at Emory, she worked as a Research Coordinator within the Emory Palliative Care Division where she managed and contributed to studies surrounding Cystic Fibrosis and individuals aging with dementia. While at Emory, Michelle also interned with the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence department where through rapid experiment/pilot implementation and data analysis she worked to improve and standardize the transition of care process for new ostomy patients. Michelle has interned with Michigan Medicine where she worked on projects surrounding hospital surge capacity improvements as well as with Fenway Health, a federally qualified health center focused on serving underserved communities in the greater Boston area.
During her time at Emory, Michelle has focused on serving and mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals through her involvement with the Association of Black Public Health Students (ABPHS). Michelle aims to leverage her experiences from both research and project management into this administrative fellowship role. Michelle has a passion for minority health, expanding access to care, and improving hospital service delivery.
Poorvi Satya
MHA, Columbia University
Poorvi Satya joins UCSF Health after earning her Master of Health Administration degree from Columbia University. Prior to graduate school, she spent several years working in the medical device startup and biotechnology spaces and received undergraduate degrees in Systems Biology and Business Management at Case Western Reserve University.
Poorvi’s interdisciplinary business and bioinformatics background is complemented by a passion for improving public health. She previously volunteered with Health Leads, an organization connecting individuals in the Ohio area to social determinants of health resources, and currently serves as a Board Member of the Charlotte Maxwell Clinic, an Oakland-based clinic providing complementary integrative cancer care to underserved women. These experiences, along with several years as a program manager at a medtech startup developing a portable MRI system, have shaped her personal mission: to help reduce healthcare costs while improving quality and access to care for all individuals. Most recently in her professional career, Poorvi was part of a team that won first place at the Cleveland Clinic 2022 Case Competition, and was an Administrative Intern at UCLA Health, where she designed staffing structure recommendations across general services divisions and worked on projects with the Budget & Financial Services department.
Thrilled to be returning home to the Bay Area, Poorvi looks forward to working with an organization that stands out for its focus on the care continuum, emphasis on education, and pursuit of innovation.
Nicolas St Cloud
MPH, Emory University
Nicolas St Cloud, originally from Atlanta, Georgia, embarked on his healthcare leadership journey through impactful experiences both domestically and abroad. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Health: Science, Society, and Policy at Brandeis University, he pursued a Master of Public Health in Healthcare Management at Emory University Rollins School of Public Health.
During his time at Morehouse School of Medicine, Nicolas, drawing on his Haitian heritage, served as a project coordinator. He personally recruited Haitian individuals as community health workers and crafted health messaging tailored specifically for Haitian communities in Atlanta and Miami. Deeply interested in improving healthcare systems, Nicolas plans to leverage his knowledge and experience to enhance healthcare education and services in Haiti in the future.
Throughout his academic journey, Nicolas held various leadership roles, including serving on the Health Policy and Management DEI committee, as an executive board member of the Association of Black Public Health Students, and contributing to the second edition of “Racism: Science & Tools for the Public Health Professional”. His professional background also includes administrative roles at Oregon Health and Science University Hospital and New Ashongman Community Hospital in Accra, Ghana.
Nicolas is enthusiastic about joining UCSF Health as an Administrative Fellow, where he aims to further his personal and professional growth. His passion for advancing healthcare equity and value-based care aligns seamlessly with UCSF Health’s mission to provide exceptional healthcare services to San Francisco’s diverse community. Nicolas looks forward to contributing his expertise to UCSF Health’s initiatives and learning from their esteemed healthcare leaders, ensuring he makes a meaningful impact during his fellowship.
Barrett Hollingsworth
MBA, University of Southern Indiana
Barrett Hollingsworth holds a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from the University of Southern Indiana and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Microbiology with dual minors in Psychology and Chemistry from California State University, Chico.
For almost a decade, Barrett has worked in public health and occupational health, focusing on community welfare, disease prevention, and public and employee safety. His role as an Environmental Health and Safety professional has seen him skillfully orchestrate the integration of people, processes, and technology across diverse programs. Barrett has expertise in health regulations, OSHA compliance, project management, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies; he has managed the development of new training modules, optimized governmental and private sector operational workflows, and product-managed various health and safety software platforms. He ensures both internal efficiency and external customer satisfaction, all while prioritizing the well-being of the individuals he serves.
Driven by personal experiences and his passion for helping others, Barrett is eager to transition into healthcare leadership. He is poised to uphold the core values of professionalism, respect, integrity, diversity, and excellence, leveraging his diverse skill set to contribute meaningfully to UCSF Health and the advancement of healthcare services.
